ScopeGuard is operated by Alessandro Pappagallo. By creating an account or continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you use ScopeGuard on behalf of a firm, you confirm you have authority to bind that firm; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter into a contract.

ScopeGuard turns a short diagnostic questionnaire into an hours estimate, a price range and an editable scope document you can share with your client. The estimate is produced by deterministic arithmetic based on the inputs you provide. It is a scoping aid, not professional, legal, tax or accounting advice, and you remain responsible for the prices you quote and the work you agree to perform.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per user. Free accounts are limited to a fixed number of quotes; paid plans remove that limit.

You must not:

• Use the service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or upload content you have no right to use.
• Interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, penetration testing, scraping or circumvention of usage limits.
• Reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.

We retain ownership of ScopeGuard, including its software, estimate logic, documentation and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected. You keep ownership of the client data and scope content you enter; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.

We work to keep ScopeGuard available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our reasonable control may affect availability.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the interval you selected (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Payment, billing, currency, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller and are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund window is described in our Refund Policy (30 days).

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. On termination you can export your quotes and scope documents for a reasonable period, after which data may be deleted.

To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or lost goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not permit exclusion.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the law of the seller's place of establishment, and its courts have jurisdiction.
